Week #72 - The work pays off!

It's been a good week.  We have done lots of splits and work in the area.

i just wanted to ask about what is happening with the USA and Iran... lots of people are talking about it and I just want to know.  Everyone is saying the Americans are terrible and stuff....it has been kinda weird how people react to me, but I'm not nervous.  

This last week I downloaded lots and lots of talks from all diffrent people to listen to. Ok, here in Mozambique guards have the worst job.  They make like 3 dollars every 24 hours of work!  We are grateful for them though.  I am sure they keep alot of people away from our stuff.  

Transfers are this week.  I'm pretty sure Elder Silva is gonna leave and I'll stay so we will see.  We have been together for a long time - 3 transfers.  It has been a great run.  I've learned so much from him!

Well we had tons and tons of visits. I was doing all the divisions in other areas -  4 times this week in other areas for 24 hours total.   So I haven't had a chance for much work in our area this week.  I've done tons of interviews - something like 9 this week.  I have a really cool story with someone in our area I'll have to tell you guys about when the internet works better.
It's hard to explain in writing. 

We just got a call from President Senna. He has some things he needs us to pick up in an hour, so I've gotta go.  

Really this week we just worked 10 till 21 teaching lessons, visits, and interviews nothing crazy besides that one story.  Ya kinda a bummer pday, haha.

Short and brief this week!  I am staying in Beira for another transfer!!  They brought me your package! Thank you, Thank you ! I cannot tell you how much it meant to open it up.  A bunch of missionaries had already looked through it, but I don't think they took anything.  The shoes are AMAZING!!  I feel like I am in heaven when I wear them in the area.  The basketball hoop is the highlight when we come back home and I am trying to stretch out the food!  Please tell Benjamin thank you again for bringing for me!   I had tons of splits with different missionaries this week.  My companion had other responsibilities.  Our Bishop has set up for us to only mark baptisms for every 2 weeks now.  I think that will help them keep up with all the new members.  We are still teaching a ton and people are progressing well. Week # 23 - The Voice of the Spirit

Thanks to Elder Thornton - We have Pictures of CJ and the Nacala Squad!! (It took over 12 hrs for his family to receive these pictures!)   Well, the internet stinks and is not that great!  Still very slow and still no photos. This week has been lots of lessons and tons of walking. My feet have tons of blisters on them, and now my shoes are getting holes in the sides because of how much we walk.  I have been way tired and I am always hungry, but it’s been good.  I’m picking up on understanding the language, but still very difficult for me.  Please keep me in your prayers. Thanks for all the pictures and advice I love every one of them.  I’m trying to offer lots more prayers.  It has definitely helped.  I haven’t done a prayer silent or out loud in english since the MTC, so I hope they are still sincere and God knows I’m giving my all.
