Week #48 - The Stone Cut Out of the Mountain is ROLLING FORWARD!!

So this has been another week of teaching some wonderful people!!

We had three Baptisms.  One of an 18 year old we have been teaching and some family of Junior.  We Baptized him our first week here.

But this week has been incredible!  We are walking and teaching, teaching, teaching!  I am loving it!  The only hard part is the energy.  I collapsed this week while we were out working.  I don't think I ate or drank enough.  I get tired pretty fast.  At the end of this week I was so dead that I couldn't move!!  We are working at least 12 hour days and we have so much to do we don't come home for lunch.  I am trying to work on it Mom.  Dad is probably thinking "Way to go, but be smart!" and you are probably thinking "Take Care of Yourself!" We are working it out.  We have been trying to do more exercises and every morning we are trying to run so that's awesome.

No crazy stories this week.  It has been kind of boring.  We did run out of water on Tuesday.  It has been stinky literally!  Our house smells real bad.  But we got water today so we are good.  The Zone Leaders are headed in for Zone Conference this next week and then it is transfer time.  I hope to stay here with Elder Van Orden.  He is a hard working missionary!  The work is rolling forward at an incredible pace.

Our ward had a children's choir sing and some of the kids that were just baptized were in the Choir.  Two of the boys that just joined the church last week were asked to say the prayers.  It made me cry to listen to them and see the changes these people are making so quickly because they are so willing to BELIEVE!!

Because people have to come to church for 4 weeks before they can be baptized we have 18 people who are waiting to join the church.  They are scheduled into this next transfer.  We have great members who help us in this work.  They are a great tool and are moving this work along.  I can see what a team members and missionaries can be.

Something cool about Madison in Toronto!  A man named Maxwell from Zimbabwe is traveling to Toronto next week.  I mentioned that my sister is serving a mission there.  He asked about her and said he is going to find her!  I believe he will at least try.  He said he will go to the Mission home and they will help him.  He is a way cool man.

Thanks for everything!  I told all the missionaries that Benjamin met President Senna!  They thought that was so cool!  My Zone Leader hopes he is still there when he heads down this next week.  Any tie to people is huge when we are so far away from family!!

I hope to talk to you today, Tchau! (Bye)

Com Amor,

Elder Rees
