Week #43 - What a Week to Report! Excited about being back in Beira!

Craziest week ever!... Went to the hospital again because of my foot... Had a baptism.... Transfered to Beira... Had a very scary thing happen.... And I have a new companion... so ya, that's my week in total.

Hospital- So I have no clue what happened walking in the area.  I just had tons of pain on the top of my foot.  I  think because our area is only trails with all different levels, hills, rocks, and trees that maybe I just injured it.  I told Dad about it we discussed some options and steps to take.  My foot just started to swell and it still hurts to walk.  The Doctor gave me medication to take and gel to put on the swelling.  I still have no clue what it really is (thanks Mozambique doctors) but I'll survive.

Baptism- This kid is awesome, his name is Felix Hes.  He is 18 and just was a kid looking for something better in his life.  Its been awesome teaching him.  He was really open to learn and grow so we baptized him on Saturday with the other missionaries.

Transfers!!- I received a call from President Senna two days ago and he said I was headed to Beria (This is the area I started my mission in, but it was closed because of the cyclone.  Now it is open again.  (It opened up last transfer)  so Saturday night I said goodbye to my comp Elder Jennings and left to Beira.  I flew on a airplane at 9 pm all alone.  It was so weird with no companion, but I managed. I spoke to a man from China the whole flight.  He only spoke English so that was cool.  I now have a new comp!! Elder Van Ordin.  He's way cool!  He is from Blackfoot Idaho.  This transfer will be awesome!

I had a chance to drive around with the Zone Leaders and help deliver items missionaries needed.  We dropped of many things to make sure they were set up for the week and with their different transfers.  It was neat to see what responsibilities some of the missionaries have to help the work move forward.

Scary Story- There was a killing right outside our house in Nampula by the chapel.  There was a man doing horrible things to children and selling their insides.  Some weird stuff and then lots of police came.  Then they put him in a huge cage and had him chained up.  Even his neck was chained.  It was so sad to see, but I am grateful that he is not able to do those things any more to people.

We were all told to stay in casa (house) all Wednesday.  So, that was a nice day to just read. I finished The Saints book in 3 days! Because of my foot, the doctor said I had to stay in the house and not walk for 3 days.  So I read the whole book.  It's amazing!  I highly encourage everyone to read it.

I love you guys!  Thanks for the prayers.  I am way excited for this transfer.  There is still lots of cyclone damage here, but lots has been cleared, almost every tree is cut, fallen down  or is sideways - so that's crazy. It brings back memories of Florida. thanks everyone...   The Church is True and Cows say Moo
