Week # 27 - Their Faith is Amazing!

Delmar is being baptized by my Companion, Elder Francom

Life is pretty good here. We have been doing lots of lessons this week, so grateful!  We had a baptism this week which was amazing.  We baptized down by the beach again.  It is a younger man in his early 20's named Delmar.  He felt interest just seeing the church and the missionaries.  He is really cool and has a great testimony of the gospel.

I still get tired really easily so thats kinda hard.  We are doing tons of walking still.  This week we had a lesson that was at least 4 miles round trip.  It took forever to get to and it was really late. My shoes are holding up, they will be good.  They are cracking and getting worn, but they have not worn all the way through.  They are still waterproof!  I'm so thankful you got me a nice umbrella, it is way useful, thanks.

Last week I hit my 6 month mark on the mission.  I can't even believe it.  Something really funny happened.  This week Elder Thornton and I thought we could make a snack and it turned out terrible, haha.  We used sugar, flour , milk, and chocolate powder, haha!  It was a bad idea, but it was way funny when we ate it.

We are still trying to run at nights.  It's really great with the little area we have to run in.  That's really my week.  Nothing crazy happened.  I did teach primary again that was fun.  I just showed the kids pictures of the family and we talked about the importance of families.  The book that you slipped in my bag before I left was the best thing ever,  I show it to everyone.  I love it, I just wish it had more pictures.

I hope the Hogans are doing well, been thinking about them a lot.  Also, I have been really praying for people in the family that need prayers.

I'll still work on calling you cause that would make my week!! Eventually we will be able to talk.  We have had some pretty cool lessons this week teaching lots about the evagelho de Jesus Cristo (the gospel of Jesus Christ). and the first lesson its been real good.

com amor, Elder Rees
