Week #11 - I Am Heading to MOZAMBIQUE, AFRICA!!

I am getting plenty of good food here!
I received a call from my Mission President and I am flying out next Monday for Africa!!  When the Presidente called I couldn't even believe it, my heart dropped.  I am kinda freaking out, but ya it is here.  


All day today we have been serving so I can't really send a weekly email.  I haven't been able to email at all, but thats ok. 



Also I had the opportunity to give a lesson in Portuguése this week in a spanish members home and I also taught 2 guys from Africa! They were so excited for me. And also told me good luck beacuse they've been to Mozambique and they said its terrible. haha 

I will let you know on Saturday about my flight plans.  We can email them to you.

 I am getting excited that I'm headed out!

Week #49 - Church News in Mozambique - July 29th, 2019

Short and brief this week!  I am staying in Beira for another transfer!!  They brought me your package! Thank you, Thank you ! I cannot tell you how much it meant to open it up.  A bunch of missionaries had already looked through it, but I don't think they took anything.  The shoes are AMAZING!!  I feel like I am in heaven when I wear them in the area.  The basketball hoop is the highlight when we come back home and I am trying to stretch out the food!  Please tell Benjamin thank you again for bringing for me!   I had tons of splits with different missionaries this week.  My companion had other responsibilities.  Our Bishop has set up for us to only mark baptisms for every 2 weeks now.  I think that will help them keep up with all the new members.  We are still teaching a ton and people are progressing well. Week # 23 - The Voice of the Spirit

Thanks to Elder Thornton - We have Pictures of CJ and the Nacala Squad!! (It took over 12 hrs for his family to receive these pictures!)   Well, the internet stinks and is not that great!  Still very slow and still no photos. This week has been lots of lessons and tons of walking. My feet have tons of blisters on them, and now my shoes are getting holes in the sides because of how much we walk.  I have been way tired and I am always hungry, but it’s been good.  I’m picking up on understanding the language, but still very difficult for me.  Please keep me in your prayers. Thanks for all the pictures and advice I love every one of them.  I’m trying to offer lots more prayers.  It has definitely helped.  I haven’t done a prayer silent or out loud in english since the MTC, so I hope they are still sincere and God knows I’m giving my all.
