Week #4 - The Temple Brings Power!
Our District - Elder Turner is in the Middle & My Companion is next to me! |
Well, its been a long week of study, study, and study. And I Love it!
Its crazy to realize that I only have 2 more weeks in America!! And I could`nt be more excited.
Monday- P-Day! We attend the temple once again, and I could`nt get enough of it. I love the temple with all my heart and I'm so grateful that we get to go in the House of the Lord.
Then for the rest of Monday I did Usual p-day stuff - emailed, washed clothes, shopped at MTC store etc.
Tuesday - I love Tuesdays because we have only one class, Then a devotional later in the night. Plus, Elder Anderson came and spoke to us!
What a powerful message he had. His topic was temple attendance and what the blessing are from going to the temple.
Wednesday- Wednesday's are my second favorite day of the week. First off, because the new Elders and Sister come in. ( Btw I saw Elder Parker Hull, he said the wards doing well. ) and second because our exercise time is at 7 pm and its prefect!! The sand courts arent hot! haha
Anyway this morning Elder Hancock and I did a TRC, and It went really well. For the first time in forever I felt like I understood most of it. Usually we go in and just nod our heads up and down after every question pretending we understand most of it, when in real life we didnt know anything.
But back to the volleyball stuff. Elder Turner and I have started doing doubles and we are insane! Its like the funnest thing ever. Some of the elders from other districts have challenged us and we both love competition so we are up for anything.
Thursday - A great day, we had a lesson with a person named Ruth (hew-t) and it went pretty well, we talked about how God loves her and how he sent us families because he loves us. We also had a really long time to study today so I read the Book Of Mormon for like 2 hours straight It was so peaceful and just brightened my whole day.
Friday- Long day. We face-timed a man from Portugal and talked with him. From what the other Elders said, they could not understand him. So ya, it was kinda a hard day.
Saturday- I learned lots from Preach my Gospel and did tons of workshops with Elders from all around the MTC. It was kind fun. All Saturday night we just worked on grammar which was sort of
boring and was on the harder side.
Sunday- Elder Hancock and I taught the lesson again and It went Moito Bem (very Good). Later that night we watched a talk from Elder Bednar. It was called "Recognizing the Spirit" and was probably thee best talk I've ever heard before.
Last night I said my goodbyes to Sister Sariah Rees. She was beyond excited to head out and serve in Hungary.
Obregoto Por tudo O Orarcaos, amor Voce Tudo (Thanks for all the Prayers, Love you All!)
